William Godwin KC

William was legal member of the FIDIC Updates Task Group which drafted the second (2017) editions of the Red, Yellow and Silver Books.

He is a specialist construction and engineering lawyer of over 25 years’ experience and sits as an adjudicator and arbitrator.

William has successfully conducted numerous training courses on the FIDIC forms (often for those whose first language is not English) and is accredited by FIDIC as an instructor. He is the author of The 2017 FIDIC Contracts (Wiley 2020) and writes and speaks regularly on construction, commercial and arbitration law topics.
